| IDA (Integrated Document Application)
is a telecom industry web-based application developed by ACE,
which is commonly used by some of the largest telecommunication
carriers. The application is a business rule documentation
repository that stores all of the OBF, TCIF and ATIS business
rule standards, as well as the carriers business rules.
The Integrated Document Application tracks and documents
where rules differentiate between standards and carrier
specific rules to help Cooperative Local Exchange Carriers
(CLEC's) understand the business process in order to fulfill
customer service orders both manually and electronically.
The application controls the releases of documentation to
maintain accurate reporting. IDA is currently the main source
for all of the published wholesale documentation on the
carriers web site as well as the internal business rule
documentation between departments.
Major telecom carriers and CLEC's have benefited from this
world-class application. " The application developed
