| ACE was contacted by a major telecommunications
carrier to develop a system that would capture, identify,
and trend the numerous transactional problems the company
was receiving from their client's orders.
The carrier was receiving substantial fines from the PSC
(Public Service Commission) for these errors and wanted
to pinpoint internal and external issues to isolate the
problems to reduce the fines. After a thorough methodical
analysis of the systems in place, the Errors Analysis system
was conceived.
The Errors Analysis System, on a daily basis, downloads
data from the carrier's systems. The system then performs
a trending analysis to organize and pin point errors that
may be fixed by CLEC training or system enhancements. The
Errors system developed by ACE plays an important role in
helping improve the flow through statistics of orders. The
Errors Analysis system as well as the Metrics production
has helped move our client much closer to the mandated 95%
achieved flow through goal and save them millions of dollars
in fines from the PSC.
